FAQ

What is the chemical mixture recipe in Sublustrum?
The notebook shown in the reviewed playtest video requires Albertia powder, five parts ethanol, then three parts ether. It explicitly says to preserve this sequence and these proportions.
Which solvent labels mean ethanol and ether?
The delivery note shown in the short recording identifies C2H5OH as ethanol and C4H10O as diethyl ether. Use those labels to distinguish them from the other reagents.
Why does the apparatus say Plant first?
That prompt appears during Qustat’s earlier attempt. Check the required plant input before dispensing solvents; an empty apparatus view is not evidence that the inhaler is ready.
Does five parts mean five valve turns?
The cited note specifies parts and proportions, not a universal number of valve turns. This guide does not infer undocumented turn counts or key bindings.

What is the inhaler mixture recipe?

Albertia powder → five parts ethanol → three parts ether. The order matters: the in-game notebook shown in the source says to add the solvents in that exact sequence and proportion. This page answers the laboratory recipe; it does not document every step of obtaining the plant.

The Sublustrum greenhouse laboratory contains a measuring cylinder, solvent controls and a grinder beside the workbench.

Actual playtest footage from Qustat at 10:00. This is an equipment view, not a completed mixture or a readable recipe note.

Where does the recipe come from?

Golden Wombat — Chemical Mix Puzzle Solution shows the notebook at 0:02–0:06. Its dated entry states five parts ethanol, followed by three parts ether, added to Albertia powder. The delivery note at 0:08–0:14 identifies the two reagents; around 0:32, the item inspection reads Prepared Inhaler. We reviewed the entire short visually. It has no usable narration transcript, and its creator overlays are not used as screenshots here.

Qustat’s Sublustrum playtest walkthrough supplies the clean illustrations with the Russian game interface. At 10:30, the inventory shows a container for grinding; 10:50 shows the laboratory apparatus; 13:40 shows the completed inhaler in inventory. These frames have different roles: the equipment images orient you, while the inventory result confirms the item exists. The exact recipe comes from the readable notebook in Golden Wombat’s recording.

Both sources were reviewed on October 14, 2026 and depict the 3D playtest. This is a review of creator footage rather than a separate hands-on test. Use the playtest guide to check edition and access context.

How should I approach the recorded mixture?

  1. 1. Check the plant input and grinding equipment

The recipe expects Albertia powder before the solvents. Qustat’s inventory view identifies a container for grinding, and the earlier laboratory attempt gives a Plant first prompt. Check that plant requirement rather than treating the empty apparatus as ready. This screenshot identifies the container; it does not show the complete plant collection or grinding sequence.

Sublustrum inventory selects the container for grinding used when checking equipment for the Albertia powder requirement.
The Russian label identifies a container for grinding, not a finished inhaler. Watch the source at 10:30
  2. 2. Follow the ethanol-first, ether-second recipe

At the laboratory apparatus, follow the notebook’s five parts ethanol, then three parts ether. The source delivery note labels them C2H5OH and C4H10O respectively. The screenshot locates the measuring apparatus and solvent controls; it does not itself display the recipe or prove the amounts already dispensed.

Sublustrum laboratory measuring cylinder and solvent controls stand above the open container where the inhaler mixture is prepared.
Equipment view before completion; use the separately cited notebook for the ratio. Watch the source at 10:50
  3. 3. Verify the completed inhaler in inventory

Check the resulting item rather than judging success from an open container alone. Golden Wombat’s short ends with a Prepared Inhaler inspection. Qustat’s later inventory also labels the item as a prepared inhaler, confirming the result shown in this clean frame.

Sublustrum inventory highlights the completed inhaler with the Russian label Gotovyy ingalyator after the laboratory sequence.
The later inventory view identifies the completed inhaler. Watch the source at 13:40

What if the laboratory refuses the mixture?

If the game says “Plant first”, return to the required plant input. The reviewed recording shows this message before the prepared item exists, so the earlier bench image cannot be called a successful mixture. Next, compare the solvent names and their order with the notebook. Ethanol and ether are not interchangeable with the other barrels listed in the delivery note.

The evidence does not establish fixed valve-turn counts, a timing trick or a chemical-puzzle bug. Read the current build’s clue and compare the source’s action sequence if your setup differs. For finding hidden objects, the Echophone guide shows a separate scan-and-collect example.
